I ordered a Toyota RAV4 2009 model from Kosei Boeki. The vehicle was advertised on Japanese car trade www.japanesecartrade.com (JCT card no- ********) and was I referred to Kosei Boeki. Kosei Boeki has advertised the vehicle on www.koseiboeki.com under reference KB-******** and it was indicated that the vehicle is a very good condition with 85,000 Km – Grade 5 - which is the highest second-car quality the company sells. Shipment of the vehicle was delayed for over 6 months. Kosei Boeki was at times switching off his phone and not answering my e-mails. When he answers he gives me the usual excuse that the shipment is almost ready and I should wait a little. When I contacted Japanese Car trade for help I was told that Kosei Boeki has been removed from their membership due to some issues and they cannot help. After several back and forth I received a salvage RAV4 with 116,935 miles in September 2015 which is in a totally bad condition and not road worthy. When I complain about the condition of the vehicle Mr. Kosei responded that he has delivered the vehicle in a working condition to the shipper and he is not responsible. However, he was not able to send me a road worthiness certificate. He finally warned me that he will not even answer my e-mails. I am considering to take legal action although it appears that it will be very difficult endeavor.
What I discovered is Kosei Boeki is engaged in a fraudulent business. What he advertises at www.koseiboeki.com is all fake. Don’t fall victim of Kosei Boeki! Kosei Boeki is one of those companies who tarnishes the reputation of trustworthy Japanese companies.

I ordered for a car. It's now 7 months and still counting. It has not been delivered up to now. Month in month out I get the same excuse that no shipping space has available on ship to Africa. I was never given any evidence that the car was ever prepared for export and parked in the shipping yard. I'm actually considering taking action in the next 1 week.

When I saw Mr. Kosei's response I was infuriated and I felt I had to respond to it. By the time I posted that review it was May 2014 and am replying exactly one year later(May 2015). In your response you stated that I should use your email ID for any inquiries. I should say I have even lost count of the number of emails I have sent you and YOU NEVER REPLY or CALL. Actually you never call at all even though I have called you several times.

Last month I actually called you on the 20th, 22nd, 24th and 29th. We only spoke on 20th April, the rest of the days the phone was on an answering machine. When we spoke you told me. you didn't have any record of my transaction. Really?? And you think you are legitimate business? You delete customer records deliberately to defraud them of their money? Yet for the last two years you claimed you don't have shipping space to East Africa. I just cannot understand how a legitimate business fails to secure shipping. Are you shipping a tanker? It's just a Hiace.

You also asked me to send you an email using your customer care email. So far I have sent you about four emails including copies of all our previous communications, but none has been replied. So who is questionable here?

I advise anyone dealing with company to stay away from them.
